Trees Were Meant for Lawns

Grass and trees go together like Bob Ross and the plant that made him so happy while he painted in the first place.

Nothing completes a lawnscape the way a few trees do, and the shade is good for your energy bill as well. Yet, we realize you might have some concerns surrounding artificial turf and trees, and we’re happier than Bob Ross to address them for you.

Synthetic Lawns Work Great with Trees

Contrary to popular belief, root growth won’t affect your turf install negatively. Several years from now any trees you’ve planted are sure to grow wider and taller as long as you don’t go full Texas Chainsaw Massacre on them. Turf laid near these trees will easily conform to any root bulges that show up and won’t lift away over time.

But what about the leaves? Our turf is durable enough to withstand rakes too.  Just as we mentioned in our earlier post about cleaning your turf, raking up piles of leaves is part of normal turf maintenance. Jumping into said piles of accumulated leaves is also acceptable, and in our professional opinion, loads of fun.

Let’s Grow Your Own Happiness

Rest assured, your trees will be plenty happy surrounded by Courts & Greens turf, and so will you.  Give us a call today if you have any questions, concerns, or ideas for your lawn installation, and let’s get growing!
